Electronics Manufacturing Support Services LTD was founded in late 2006 by Stefan Lenz to provide small to medium businesses with the resources they need, without committing to ongoing salaries and overheads.

Stefan speaking... Stefan is of German Nationality, living in New Zealand since 1993. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics - Telecommunications from the Technical University of Darmstadt and an Operations Management Diploma from the University of Auckland's Business School, which he graduated top of his class.

He worked as an Electronics Development Engineer in New Zealand designing PCBs and Firmware before moving into Production and Operations management.

Stefan has extensive experience in operations of small electronics businesses, including purchasing, production planning, production engineering and also running an SMT line.

As part of his roles he has used a number of different tools, ranging from PCB layout (PADS, Protel, Altium) to Graphics processing, Mechanical design, Content Management Systems, Translation tools, Documentation control packages and MRP systems.

He is a member of APICS, SMTA, SMCBA and TCANZ.

He is also a certified IPC-610 trainer.
